With more than 20 years in information technology, I've worked across every side of the field, from freelance projects and small businesses to large corporate environments at some of the best-known companies in North Texas. As Creative Director and Technical Director of Whole Stack Solutions, I shape how a solution looks and feels, then make sure it's engineered properly underneath. Experience has taught me that good technology starts with good conversations. Based in Dallas, I work with clients across North and Central Texas and remotely nationwide.
I've held roles at many levels along the way: IT support across all tiers, Implementation Engineer Level 1-3, Point of Sale Systems Manager and New Store Opening IT Specialist. That range means I understand both sides of the table. I know what clients need at the operations and store level, and I know what an IT department can realistically deliver, and on what timeline.
What I enjoy most is working closely with clients: understanding what they're trying to achieve, talking through the options in plain language, and helping them watch their idea come to life. There's nothing better than seeing a project that started as a sketch become something a business or a family relies on every day.
What clients value most is my dedication to getting every project across the finish line. I don't disappear once the work is delivered, either. Whether it's a new app, a website or a network that simply works, I stay involved, so you always have someone who knows your setup and cares how it runs.
Today I lead a team of technicians and developers at Whole Stack Solutions. You'll always know who's working on your project, and I stay personally involved from the first conversation to the last check-in, so every job gets the same standard no matter who's on site.
A side project that kept the creative spark alive.
Whole Stack Solutions didn't start with a business plan. It started on nights and weekends. My 9-to-5 in corporate IT was rewarding, but much of the work was about keeping existing systems running: tickets, rollouts and checklists. I missed the creative side, the part where you start with a blank page and build something new.
So I began taking on projects outside of work: a website for a friend's business, a tool to replace someone's messy spreadsheets, a home network that finally reached every room. Each one was a chance to design something from scratch, solve a real problem, and see the person on the other side light up when it worked.
Word got around. One project led to the next, and the side work grew into a real business with a team of technicians and developers behind it. The reason I started hasn't changed: I still love the creative challenge, and every client gets the same curiosity and care that made me want to build things in the first place.
